Court dissolves 3yr old marriage over wife’s lack of vagina opening
An Abeokuta Customary Court sitting in Ake on Wednesday April 29th dissolved a three-year-old marriage between Mr Femi Olayiwole and wife, Kemi, due to the absence of vagina, deceit and frequent fighting. Olayiwole told the court that his wife deceived him to marry her knowing that she could not bear him a child. He accused his wife, who had failed to appear in court after being summoned several times, of living a false life, frequent fighting and threatening his life.

Police in Imo Defuse Bomb Close to the state's INEC office
Men of the Imo state Police command this morning defused two bombs planted close to the Imo state INEC secretariat in Owerri the state capital. According to reports, the bombs were planted in front of the Owerri Capital Development Agency OCDA and were discovered after a loud noise emanated from that area at about 9.30am today. Policemen are said to have cordoned off the area.

Goods Worth Millions of Naira Destroyed as Fire Guts 5 Buildings at Balogun Market in Lagos
Goods worth millions of Naira were on Monday destroyed at the popular Balogun Market on the Lagos Island, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The fire which was said to have started at about 4 a.m. affected about five buildings but no casualty was recorded in the incident.
Confirming the incident, Supt. Olarenwaju Smith of the Ebute-Ero Police Division, attributed the incident to power surge.

Ebola Survivors In West Africa To Share Stories Via Mobile App
Survivors in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia will be given smartphones and will document their stories and exchange tips on how to cope with it for a mobile app which will be available to the public, the backers said in a statement.
Ebola survivors in the three west African countries worst hit by the epidemic will share their stories through a mobile application to be launched on Monday, in a Unicef-backed campaign to inform and fight stigma around the disease.
The Ebola outbreak, the worst on record of the highly infectious haemorrhagic fever, has killed over 7,900 people with more than 20,000 cases recorded, mostly in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO).

In a press statement released today, the State House announced the tragic development and detailed that the deceased was being treated at a hospital in Yenagoa.
Nancy Jonathan-Olei, 52, younger sister of Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, passed away earlier today, Jan. 4, after a bout of illness.
